Flexible pay from Cappy

Why is flexible pay good for me?

Cappy is a service to offer flexible pay to you as an employee. The service allows you to track your worked time and earned pay, and gives you the possibility to withdraw a part of your earned pay when you need it between paydays. Available to you around the clock, every day of the year, in a user-friendly mobile app.

Cappy gives you control over your pay, a stronger connection between work and reward, and the security of being able to use your own money on your terms and when you need them.

  • You don’t have to wait for your pay or worry about unpaid and unforeseen expenses between paydays.
  • You can use your own money as soon as you have earned them instead of taking expensive loans.
  • You can avoid surprises over how much or little your pay is on payday.
  • You can directly see the link between work and pay.

All employees at connected employers! You only need to be 16 years old before you can activate fleixlble pay and make withdrawals from your earned pay.

If you employer isn’t connected to offer Cappy as a benefit yet, let them know about us or recommend your employer to us in our form on our website.

Under the age of 18, you are a minor in the sense of the law, and have limited ability to enter into contracts or decide over your assets.

An exception to this is that minors from the age of 16 can decide about their own earnings, which is why we can deliver our services with flexible pay to you from the time you turn 16.

Cappy supports pay from multiple employers. All employers connected to Cappy will show up in the app and you can easily select which employer you want to see and withdraw earned pay from.

No, Cappy is not a loan or a credit. It only gives you access to already earned pay so there is no need for a credit check.

Getting started

What do I need to get flexible pay?

The Cappy-app is available for both iOS and Android and is downloadable directly from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Read more and download the app to your mobile phone to get started.

Open the Cappy app on your mobile phone and click log in. Follow the instructions in the BankID app to log in to your Cappy account.

We only support Mobile BankID installed on the same device to log into the app.

You do not need to update your bank account details with your employer, Cappy automatically uses your Swish-connected bank account for all payouts.

Finally, your employer needs to activate you, it can be directly but sometimes take a couple of days so be patient. When the activation is complete you will get a notification that the service is ready to use.

Sometimes it can also take a little while before all information about your work and pay is available in the app.

No worries, Cappy works fine even if you have different mobile numbers for calls/texts and Swish.

However, you need be able to receive a text message to your Swish-connected mobile number so that we can verify that you own that number and that it is correct.

You can do this using a SIM-card for the mobile number connected to Swish, or using a web portal from your operator.

Contact customer service if you need help to activate an alternative mobile number for Swish-payouts with Cappy.

Track pay

What information about pay can I see?

Worked time includes shifts with hourly wages and part of month with monthly salary. The earned pay shown in the app normally includes base pay from wages and salary, and overtime compensation as reported by your employer. Read more about the app and how it looks and works on our employee page.

The earned pay shown in the app normally includes base pay from wages and salary, and overtime compensation as reported by your employer.

Vacation pay is included for some employers, ask your employer what their configuration includes.

Other compensation such as bonuses, travel costs and reimbursements is normally not included, but depends on the actual employer setup.

If your earned pay is not updated, check that you have reported and registered your time correctly with your employer.

The information in the app can sometimes have a delay depending on when and how you have worked and reported your time, and if your manager needs to attest your time before it can be used in the Cappy app.

Sometimes the earned pay in the app does not match your expectations, it is always an estimation and calculation based on the information about time, pay and tax that we receive from your emplopyer, and it is natural that there is a slight difference.

The app and the payslip show different parts of your income, and your transactions in the Cappy app are not always reflected on your payslip. Withdrawals made the same month as the payday are only seen in the app, whereas withdrawals made the month before payday are visible on your payslip.

Your payslip will show you total income, including all amendments and deviations, and your preliminary deductions for tax and withdrawals from the month before payday.

The Cappy app will show you net pay for wages and salary, including overtime compensation and deviations when it is possible. In the app you can also see all withdrawals with Cappy and related fees, regardless when in time they are made.

For each payday you can access a part of your earned pay, normally 50 % or up to 20 000 kr, and withdraw the money directly in the app using Swish. The limit for how much you can withdraw is set together with your employer.

The part of your earned pay that you cannot withdraw is visible as reserved in the app and paid out to you automatically and free of charge on the payday, together with the rest of your earned pay that you haven’t withdrawn in advance.
